I haven't blogged in a while, I've just been exhausted! but i have been busy and of course been painting... but I'm at a cross road maybe some of you can give me some input. I get bored easily and when i do I have to change my art, if you notice my backgrounds are always different techniques i experiment with all the time but sometimes i don't even remember how I got a certain technique!LOL! any way I wanted to try some different things like abstracts and more realistic paintings, of course i'll be still doing my whimsical paintings but I'm itching to try something different, I've been creating some jewelry which i'll post soon but here is a painting that's a little bit different from what you're used to from me, I'd love some opinions, should I stick to the old ones or maybe try a few like this? Don't worry about hurting my feelings, I'd love an honest opinion!thanks!

I love everything you do; you are a true talent. I am a lot like you; I get bored easily as well and try so many things that I tend to be all over the place with my style. Is there some sort of rule that says you cannot go back and forth between both styles? I think it will just expand your audience and keep you from getting bored. Art is free; don't limit yourself girlie!
She's beautiful and I agree with Shonna.....do both if your heart wants to :) Look at me, I can't come up with a 'style' to save my soul! BUt it keeps it interesting! LOL I'm with you on 'getting bored easily'!

I really admire the way you can just try different things, that is something I really struggle with. I get stuck with what I know...

I really like this. Personally, I prefer it over the cutesy wide eyed paintings. I prefer it not for difference in design or detail, I always like your paintings, but mainly because the market is currently saturated with the wide eyed girlies. It's refreshing to see a change of pace.
I too hop from thing to thing. I get bored oh so easliy. I think this type of painting would expand your audience.
What I don't understand though is why you are asking what we like? Paint what YOU like. What YOU enjoy. Fans and followers are fickle but you can always tell an artist that paints from their heart.
I like both styles of you paintings. I too am always trying new styles, as I get bored and want to try new things. It must be an artist thing :)
